Golf

There are over 15 public golf courses with in driving distance of the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel & Conference Center.  Please contact our guest services department, they will be glad to assist you in reserving tee times for individuals or groups.

Boating

The Hudson River has been assigned the distinction of being one of our nations historic rivers.  Dutchess County has several options for you to enjoy to the scenic views of the river.  Whether you want a leisurely cruise on a sloop ship or a party boat cruise complete with dinner and dancing you will find it here in Dutchess County.  Please contact our guest services department to make reservations for individuals or for groups.

Skiing

The Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel & Conference Center is close to some of the best skiing in the northeast.  Just 45 minutes from Windam Mountain and 1 hour from Hunter Mountain and Bellayre Mountain.  We offer a close alternative to staying on the mountain.
